COUTA BOAT 1943 C43 'LOLA' $85,000.

This stunning Couta boat built in 1939 by Alex Lacco and Doug Walton and launched in 1943 used as a commercial fishing boat for the next 17 years at Phillip Island. She went through her first restoration in 1992 replacing ribs floor and decking. She spent the next 12 years sailing at Sorrento and Mornington.

Bought by her current owners in 2004 they spent a further 3 years restoring her to her original glory days and sailed her out of Martha Cove Safety Beach.

She is a great day sailor for the bay, fishing or sailing with the family but don't be fooled she is a wolf in sheep's clothing she has a very impressive racing pedigree in her class.

Queenscliff Couta Boat Regatta 2009 and 2011 1st place, Victorian state titles 2010 1st place, Portsea Cup 2014 2nd place.
