In 2006 she completed a 2-year renovation whereby she was completely stripped down and sand blasted inside and out and anything less than 5 mm steel thickness cut out and re-placed with compatible Corten steel. To all extents and purposes, she's a 2006 new build with a new interior, mechanical and electrical systems, new mast, rigging, winches, etc etc but also a classic and one that gets noticed on the dock. She is easy and very comfortable to sail despite her size and will give you a comfortable sail at 6 to 7 knots in everything from 10 knots to 30 knots of wind, and if that doesn't work for you she will plough through a force 8 gale at 7 knots with her fantastically reliable and oversized 135HP Isuzu engine which has full walk in access within its sound insulated engine room.
We purchased her in 2000 and had a lot of fun rebuilding her, living aboard her, planning overnight trips exploring Hong Kong's islands and then in 2011 we spent a wonderful 15-month holiday sailing around the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia with family and friends.
She is spaciously laid out with two double cabins fore and aft, both with en-suite. Spacious open galley and saloon with good storage for extended cruising. The cockpit has part solid, part removeable dodgers and aft is a super comfortable seating which is integrated into the davit system which also supports solar panels, wind turbine, WIFI etc.
Surveyed in 2007,2011 and 2017 with valuations HKD 1.75, HKD 2.0 and HKD 1.5 million respectively. Survey reports available on request.
She has a private mooring in shelter cove, Sai Kung.
